Before You Start (Booking and Pre-Drive Checks)
Book 7-14 days ahead of VicRoads for the best timing. Contact us online or by phone to book, then bring your learner permit and logbook on the day. Sessions last 45 minutes total, with 30 to 35 minutes of driving. Your instructor reviews your goals upfront and checks the car together before you head out.
In the pre-drive briefing, we’ll explain exactly how the real test will run, what the real driving testing officer is looking for, and how they’ll be scoring you. This is your time to ask us anything before getting ready to face the simulated test drive.
On-Road Assessment
The drive starts easy on residential streets to warm up, then ramps up to busier roads with roundabouts and intersections. Expect reverse parallel parking, three-point turns, and safe lane changes, all scored live just like VicRoads does. Our instructors note everything silently to keep the pressure authentic.
Feedback Session
Right after parking, your instructor reviews the score sheet point by point. They prioritise must-fix issues, like observation lapses, and suggest 1-2 lessons if needed. You walk away with a printed plan and the confidence to book your VicRoads test soon.
